VISITED: March 17-21

INTRODUCTION: Spring Break 2005! I have to say I was somewhat dissapointed- Daytona Beach has really become a dive. I went there in 1987 and had the time of my life- but commercialism and lack of upkeep has made this destination spot old and crummy.

ACTVITIES: Well anyone who is anyone drives up and down the beach playing ridiculously loud music and screams obscenities at the sun worshippers.

ACCOMMODATIONS: We stayed in a condo on the beach and it was mediocre. I can't even remember the name- but aren't they all the same?

FINAL COMMENTS: Florida is nice, but I just don't care for the Atlantic side. Give me the gulf anyday... and the further south, the better.
